Bulls turn out the Heat!
The #1 Chicago Bulls turnt out the #2 Miami Heat 103-82, last night, to go ahead 1-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals! Taj Gibson was murdering Wade and Lebron on the block. Bulls Derrick Rose kept attacking got 28 points and Luol Deng D’ed Lebron to perfection. Deng with 21 points, had four steals on Lebron, and kept him to 15 points on 5-15 shooting. The Bulls bodied up on the Heat in the second half collecting 55 boards compared to the Heat 34 boards. Bulls Joakim Noah had 14 boards and a big block on Lebron. Chris Bosh was the only honorable for the Heat with 30 points and nine boards, as Dwyane Wade limped in with 18 points. As the final minutes ticked away, fans chanted ”Over-rated!” and ”Beat the Heat!”
”It was on me,” Rose said. ”Careless turnovers. You can’t do that against this team. When they get into the open court, they’re too dangerous. … I’m the point guard. I’ve got to do way better.”
”Definitely to guard a guy like that the whole defense has to stay focused,” Deng said. ”There were times we switched and times we forced him into the double. Our bigs were great at forcing him into the front.”
