Bynum suspended and fined
LA Lakers Andrew Bynum finally apologized a couple days after (early Tuesday) his ridiculous flagrant foul on J.J. Barea in the fourth quarter of the Lakers knock-out of Playoffs (0-4) loss, Sunday. Tuesday night, the NBA announced a five-game suspension for the flagrant foul, and fined him $25K for his pulling the shirt off routine. Artest walked him off, and must have rubbed off on him with his awall jersey pulling routine. Read the apology, courtesy foxsports, and watch the apology on video!
Bynum said his actions ”don’t represent me, my upbringing, this franchise or any of the Laker fans out there that want to watch us and want us to succeed,” Bynum said. ”I want to actually apologize to J.J. Barea for doing that. I’m just glad that he wasn’t seriously injured in the event. All I can say is, I’ve looked at (a replay), it’s terrible, and it definitely won’t be happening again.”
