Laker’s last game fouls and folly!
Bynum was flagrant, Odom was remorseful, and Artest was whack (missed lay-up) at the end of the day. The Lakers were against the ropes, KO’ed, and desperation and frustration started to kick in (down 30 points). These fouls and folly all took place in Game 4, 86-122 loss, and complete (0-4) sweep to the Dallas Mavericks! Check out the convo and watch the videos!
Bynum elbowed little J.J. Barea in the chest hard intentionally, was given a flagrant, took his shirt off, and called it a day. Bynum later explained his frustration, but never apologized.
“We were getting embarrassed, they were breaking us down. So I just fouled somebody,” Bynum said after the game. “I was just kind of salty about being embarrassed. … For me, it was embarrassing to have the smallest guy on the court keep running down the lane and making shots.” (courtesy espn)
Lamar Odom shoved, Mav’s playmaker, Dirk Nowitski hard to the ground and was immediately ejected. Odom later apologized.
“I was a little embarrassed,” Odom said. “I went to fill the rim out [with the free throw attempt], they were already up 30 [when Nowitzki batted the ball away] and I didn’t mean anything by it.” (courtesy espn)
Ron Artest is a great player, but was whack when missing an easy lay-up on a fast-break.
