Spurs and Lakers even up


#1 Spurs and #2 Lakers even up (the series) after these two west coast giants caught upsets in their perspective first games. Lamar Odom received his Sixth Man Award trophy at the Lakers game with a small ceremony.

Spurs Manu Ginobli made his return to action last night, and made a big impact on the Grizzlies attack. The #1 San Antonio Spurs held on to 93-87 Playoff Game 2 win over the #8 Memphis Grizzlies. The series is now tied (1-1).

Lakers Kobe Bryant held CP3 to 20 points, and the Lakers forced the Hornets into 16 TO’s for the game. The Lakers kept picking apart CP3 supporting cast. The Hornets shooting percentage went from 52% in the first game upset to 39% in last night’s game. The #2 LA Lakers maintained a lead to beat the #7 New Orleans Hornets 87-78 last night. The series is now tied (1-1).
