Bulls honor 20th Anniversary – First Title
The Bulls held a ceremony in honor of the 20th anniversary of their first title, 1991, at halftime of the Chicago Bulls – Utah Jazz game, last night. HOF’s Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan led the cast from the past. Horace Grant, B.J. Armstrong, John Paxson, Craig Hodges, and Dennis Hopson were a few of the crew in attendance. MJ of course got roars from the crowd, and spoke of the up-and-comings Bulls who coincidentally moved into first place in the East with the 118-100 victory over the Utah Jazz. Jordan revealed less than a week ago that he believes that PG Derrick Rose is the MVP for this season.
In his address to the crowd, Pippen thanked the organization for bringing ”back a memory that we all want to live again just one more time.”
”This is very special for us,” he said.
Jordan, grinning ear-to-ear, thanked the Bulls for ”allowing us to reunite.”
He added: ”You guys are in store for a lot of other championships. You look at this team tonight, don’t be surprised if you have six more coming.”

“MVP of the season,” Jordan said about Rose after the Bulls’ 101-84 win over his Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday night (Mar 9). “He deserves it. He’s playing that well. He deserves it. Without a doubt. And if he doesn’t get it, now he’ll see how I felt a lot of years.”
