NFC Championship Playoffs: Packers vs. Bears

NFC – Green Bay Packers at the Chicago Bears, Sunday Jan 23, 3PM EST FOX. These teams have faced each other 181 times since 1921 and have had a long-standing rivalry including the Lombardi era Packers (Coach) vs. Ditka era Bears (Player). The game will come down to the Bears offensive line vs. the Packers defensive line. The Packers Defensive Coordinator Dom Capers comes up with crafty defensive schemes. Look for great defensive play of the Packers on the corners with CB Tramon Williams and CB Charles Woodson. Even though the Packers beat the Bears in final week (Week 17), at that point the Bears already clinched, and the Packers needed to win to make it into the playoffs at all. I believe Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is good, but not great. He learned a thing from Brett Favre, but doesn’t have the same set of skills. Prediction: Packers 24, Bears 31 (stats courtesy espn.com)
