Best-Selling Albums of 2010

2010 has been a good year in music bringing us lots of club bangers and great singles over the radio.

Over the year, many new artists have come out under the hip-hop genre and Pop music has come back full throttle. New artists have garnered fans across the nation, meanwhile only a few veteran artists have proved to critics and fans that they are still going strong in this game.

Now that the year’s over we can take a look back, not at the hottest singles, but at the best-selling albums. Here’s the Top Ten List of 2010.

1. Lady GaGa – The Fame Monster 5.8 million copies

2. Eminem – Recovery – 5.7 million copies

3. Justin Bieber – My Worlds (My World+My World 2.0) 5.6 million copies

4. Lady Antebellum – Need You Now 3.6 million copies

Usher came in at #19 with Raymond V Raymond selling 1.7 million copies and Drake came in at #26 with Thank Me Later. He sold 1.4 million copies.

The most commendable is Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy because it’s only been one month since the release. The album dropped on November 22 and Kanye has already sold 1.1 million copies. That’s GOOD music, no pun intended.
