Lebron “King” in Cleveland
Last night (Thurs Dec 2), the Miami Heat (12-8) tore up the Cleveland Cavaliers (7-11) 118-90. Lebron James was “King” in Cleveland with 38 points, five rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and one block. Lebron did engage in the heralded chalk clap, but toned it down a bit. He was taunting the Cleveland bench a bit in the second half. [Cleveland Assistant Coach Jamahl Mosley even told Lebon to “shut the f-k up” when he was trash-talking to the Cleveland bench late in the second quarter.] courtesy yardbarker.com He is attempting to take on a villain role, but his acting needs a lot of work. The irony to the whole situation is Lebron left the team without a star, and expected them to show up against the “new” Heat.
“I have the utmost respect for this franchise, the utmost respect for these fans,” James said afterward. But he spent part of the second half taunting Cleveland’s bench. (quote courtesy espn.com, Dec 2)
