WORLDS AIDS DAY: TEXT TO DONATE!
Celebs went silent on Twitter and Facebook today in honor of World AIDS Day. Alicia Keys’s charity, Keep a Child Alive, is a charity where celebs will be “digitally dead” until the $1 million donation mark is reached.
Donations are starting at $10 can be made over the internet using barcode technology, or by texting the name of one of the participating celebrities to 90999. Celebs that have “died” for the cause include Jay Sean, Alicia Keys, Kim Kardashian, Swizz Beats, Usher, Lady Gaga, Justin Timerberlake and Serena Williams. As of publication time more than $45,000 has been donated already!
