Event: A Tribute to Uncle Ralph McDaniels

This weekend, the legendary Uncle Ralph will be honored in Corona, Queens.

Uncle Ralph has contributed greatly to the hip hop industry as a VJ, radio personality, and the creator of Video Music Box, which was the first televised music video show to focus entirely on the Hip-Hop genre.

The event, “A Tribute to Ralph McDaniels,” will take place this Saturday, Nov. 13 in the Langston Hughes Community Library and Cultural Center of the Queens Library at 1pm.

The event will acknowledge his accomplishments as well as his impact on hip-hop as a pioneer.
