Jets and Giants Preview




 The New York Jets (5-2) travel to take on the Detroit Lions (2-5) Sunday Nov 7 1PM ET CBS. The New York Jets are coming off that tough 9-0 loss to the Green Bay Packers (Sunday, Oct 31). The Jets got good yards of offense, just TO’s, sloppy play, and dropped passes hurt them. The ref’s also made a couple of crucial bad calls on Jets receptions turning into interceptions throughout the game. Jets QB Mark Sanchez completed only 16-38 passes, 258 yards, 0 TD’s, and two picks. “We left a lot of completions out there, “ Sanchez said. “It’s just a poor job on my part.” Prediction: Jets 21, Lions 14

The NY Giants (5-2) will go the play the Seattle Seahawks (4-3) Sunday Nov 7 4:05PM ET FOX. The Giants were on a bye week last week (Week 8). Week 7, Monday night Football, Mon Oct 25, The Giants dominated the Dallas Cowboys (1-6) 41-35. Giants QB Eli Manning completed 25-35 passes for 306 yards, four TD’s, and three picks. All of Manning TO’s came early in the game. In the second quarter, Eli turned things around from a 7-20 deficit to a 24-20 lead going into halftime. Prediction: Giants 25, Seahawks 17
