On recent Sunday October 17, Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson suffered a devistating helmet to helmet hit that left him twitching on the ground to get carried away on a stretcher. Two other players were injured similary, and three hitters were just fined a total of $175,000 for illegal hits. Remember Sterling Sharpe of the past who was one of the best receivers for the Green Bay Packers in the 1990’s and his career ended abruptly on a helmet to helmet hit.
